Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese are next, but Siri AI remains unavailable in the EU on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Apple says the beta of Siri AI is part of today's updates for visionOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and iOS 27.2, and it supports English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. The Apple Post reported that this is the first major international rollout for the assistant, which was previously available only in English. Siri AI remains in beta, according to Apple.

Apple says users need an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with a supported language, and not all features are offered in every region or language. Apple said Siri AI is not available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, and that the company is trying to cooperate with the EU to resolve the situation. Siri AI is also not available to users under 13.

According to The Apple Post, Siri AI draws on Apple Intelligence to pull personal context from messages, emails, photos, and other files stored on the device. It can understand what is currently visible onscreen, act inside apps, and use broader world knowledge to answer up-to-date questions. Apple says users can retrieve information without recalling where it was saved, and the assistant can draft emails or edit and share photo groups.

Apple's newsroom note says Apple Intelligence supports Siri and device languages across 16 options: Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Japanese, Korean, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Not all features are offered in every region or language, and some devices may not be sold in all regions.

Apple said four more Siri AI languages will be supported by the end of the year: Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese. 9to5Mac reported that those languages will probably arrive with iOS 27.3, which is expected in December, and that the first iOS 27.3 beta could debut in the coming week. 9to5Mac, citing Bloomberg, said Apple intends to introduce several Apple Intelligence features in China with iOS 27.3, but Siri AI is reportedly not part of that initial set.

The Apple Post noted that the rollout arrived alongside today's other software updates, such as iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2. 9to5Mac reported that today's update also added several new Siri AI features alongside the language expansion. Apple published a new Siri AI update outlining the broader availability.

Apple said server-side Apple Intelligence features have daily usage limits. The affected tools include Image Playground, intelligent photo editing, Siri AI, and AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts. Limits can depend on the feature, how complex the request is, system demand, policies, and other factors, and Apple will charge for expanded access in the future. Use of these features is governed by the Apple Intelligence terms and conditions.
