OPPO Find X10 Series launches globally with 200MP cameras

OPPO announced the global launch of the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max on October 21 from Mallorca. The company said both flagship phones will arrive in global markets starting late October, with sales via OPPO's own shops, approved resellers and carrier partners. The Find X10 Pro Max carries an industry-first triple 200MP rear camera system, while the Find X10 has a dual 200MP system. The Pro Max's ultra-wide camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor with a 124-degree lens, its main camera uses a 1/1.28-inch ISOCELL HPC sensor co-developed with Samsung, and its telephoto has an f/2.1 aperture and 10cm minimum focus. Both models capture 26MP images by default and can shoot 50MP or 200MP in Hasselblad Hi-Res Mode on supported cameras. The OPPO Hasselblad Teleconverter adds 3.28x optical magnification to the telephoto.

OPPO said the new LUMO True Image Engine is designed to keep colors, tone and detail true to the original scene. It uses a new-generation True Color Camera for multispectral color data, brings the tonal approach of Hasselblad Master Mode into default Photo mode, and reduces excessive sharpening and AI-generated detail. Pete Lau, OPPO's chief product officer, said the series is "built to reproduce the world as you see it and keep every shot true to the moment."

For video, the Find X10 records 4K at 60fps across all rear cameras, with 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps on its 200MP main and telephoto cameras. The Find X10 Pro Max supports 4K 60fps, 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps on all three rear cameras. OPPO claims the Pro Max's main camera with DeepPix can deliver a dynamic range of up to 17 stops, and the phones support Dolby Vision, ACES-certified O-Log2 and Open Gate Capture. A Blackmagic Camera app optimized for the series is scheduled for November, and the Pro Max can use a Tilta Khronos Creator Kit with a handle, filter adapter and fan. OPPO also worked with Meta to offer near-lossless video sharing on Instagram.

The series has a one-piece sculpted glass back, IP66/IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and SGS five-star drop resistance. The Find X10 has a 6.59-inch display and the Pro Max a 6.78-inch display; both offer up to 144Hz LTPO refresh, 3,600 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision and BT.2020 color gamut support. Battery capacity is up to 8,000mAh in some markets, though certain regions get a 7,150mAh dual-cell battery. Wired charging is 80W and wireless is 50W. The Find X10 uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip and the Pro Max uses a Dimensity 9600 Pro.

ColorOS 17 debuts on the Find X10 Series and will roll out progressively to more OPPO devices. OPPO says its Living Flow Design includes Luminous Effect, Fluid Motion and Flexible Feedback. Citing tests from OPPO Lab, the company said app launches are 55% more stable, Gallery previews appear in half the time on first open, and the new OS keeps more than a quarter more apps active in memory than ColorOS 16. New AI features include AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode, which can work with photos and files on the device, and AI Photo Agent for natural-language photo edits. AI Call Guard, available in Indonesia, India and Thailand, uses on-device AI to detect synthetic voices and AI face swaps during calls.

At a manufacturing tour on October 29, OPPO said quality is the foundation of its portfolio and showed its "Next Level of Making" approach. Ling Liu, overseas CMO, said the company is "opening up our development, testing, and manufacturing processes." OPPO operates nine smart manufacturing centers, and its Chang'an center ships up to 7,200 Find X10 Pro Max units daily. The Luna White colorway alone went through more than 40 rounds of tuning.
